How the Rebbe Saw the World

A Yud Shevat Farbrengen Exploring the Rebbe’s Vision, Wisdom, and Revolutionary Way of Thinking

What enabled the Rebbe to see possibilities where others saw obstacles, hope where others saw despair, and extraordinary potential within seemingly ordinary people?

In honor of Yud Shevat—the yahrtzeit of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe and the anniversary of the Rebbe’s assumption of leadership—join Rabbi Yechiel Krisch for a traditional Chassidic farbrengen exploring not only the vision that changed the Jewish world, but the remarkable way of thinking behind that vision.

Through captivating stories, Chassidic insights, uplifting melodies, and heartfelt conversation, we’ll discover the distinctive perspective that made the Rebbe’s counsel so sought after by heads of state, scholars, business leaders, and ordinary individuals facing extraordinary challenges.

We’ll reflect on how the Rebbe approached adversity, leadership, faith, human potential, and life’s most difficult questions—and how that same perspective fueled a revolution in Jewish life that continues to inspire millions around the world.

More than an evening remembering the Rebbe’s leadership and legacy, this farbrengen is an invitation to see our own lives—and the world around us—through a different lens: with greater clarity, resilience, purpose, hope, and faith.
