If ever there was a time for the lights of Chanukah to shine brightly, it is now!
In a world filled with uncertainty, division and rising antisemitism, the message of Chanukah has never been more relevant—or more urgently needed.
More than 2,000 years ago, a small band of Maccabees stood courageously against overwhelming odds, refusing to surrender their faith, their identity or their values. Their victory reminds us that darkness does not have the final word. Even a little light can overcome a great deal of darkness.
And that is precisely the message we intend to bring to our community this Chanukah!
Throughout the eight days of Chanukah, Chabad of the Conejo will once again illuminate the Conejo Valley and Ventura County with public Menorah lightings, family festivals, concerts and celebrations of Jewish life and pride.
Thousands of men, women and children will gather to celebrate the miracles of our past, the resilience of our people and the promise of our future. Together, we will proclaim to our community—and to the world—that our Jewish light will never be extinguished. Am Yisroel Chai!
