Join us for a 3-Part Lecture Series: The Jewish Approach to Death, Burial & Mourning
Death is a subject most painful to discuss yet it is critically important that we seek guidance and wisdom from the Torah and our great sages concerning the many questions that arise during this most difficult period of time. How do we properly accord honor and dignity to the deceased? Why are stones placed on the grave? What is Judaism’s opinion on embalming, cremation and mausoleums? What is the significance of Kaddish? What is supposed to happen at Shiva? What is the Jewish belief in the after-life? Why is a Yahrtzeit so important? Learn all of the above and so much more in an open discussion with three experienced Rabbis who have helped countless families during their time of need.
